Minister Szijjártó said Slovakia’s recent election led to the formation of a “patriotic government which undertakes the enforcement of national interests and pursues sovereign politics”.
The foreign minister said the government prized the steady development of cooperation and friendship with Slovakia.
Minister Szijjártó said the election result gives a chance for a stable government to be formed in Slovakia again and for Slovak-Hungarian relations to develop further.
“Giving up nuclear energy would run contrary to our national interests,” Minister Szijjártó said.
