A 13-year-old boy from Pécs has made the final of the Cannes Festival.

Ábel Százados made a video of a boring family reunion with his phone, trying different effects. The one-minute video has now made it into the final of the biggest film festival in the world.

According to Százados, the video was made using only a smartphone and came about when he was bored playing around with his cousins at a family birthday party.

The one-minute drama, "Never" was entered into the festival by his uncle. The joke became reality when a few days ago the good news arrived that he was selected for the best film productions category.

Good luck, Ábel!
