A new charitable initiative launched to feed doctors during the busy periods

The FEED THE DOCTOR! (ETESD A DOKIT!) non-profit foundation has been set up to provide food for doctors working around the clock to help Hungary beat the coronavirus.

The FEED THE DOCTOR! (ETESD A DOKIT!) non-profit foundation has been set up by Easy Wine Budapest owner Zoltán Molnár and his wife Katherine to provide food for doctors working around the clock to help Hungary beat the coronavirus.

Executive Chef Márton Keve and gastro blogger Andras Jokuti originally came up with the idea to provide healthy and nutritious food for at-risk medical staff during the coronavirus epidemic.

“We are hoping to be able to provide up to 100 portions of food a day to key workers during these busy times. Hospital staff do such a great job for the people of Hungary, so it’s our time to give back,” said Keve.

A FEED THE DOCTOR! (ETESD A DOKIT!) Facebook group has been established so that people can join the page to make donations, offer up equipment or supplies.

“The Easy Wine Budapest kitchen is being used to prepare and cook the food, so if anyone is able to offer up any materials, equipment, supplies or donations then that would be appreciated. It’s a completely non-profit foundation, so everything we receive will go into helping and feeding healthcare workers during this busy time,“ said Molnár.
