The eagerly-anticipated Brain Bar Budapest returns to Hungary on June 1 to 3, 2017, and is set to be the best yet.

The Budapest-based event has been hailed as Europe’s finest and largest festival on the future, positioned throughout the city during the three-day event.

Guests include Pirate Bay co-founder Peter Sunde, Geopolitical Futures founder and renowned security analyst George Friedman, astrobiologist Carol Cleland and game theorist Kevin Zollman.

Festival goers can listen to discussions on the most exciting trends in technology, business, culture and politics and meet fifty internationally acclaimed masterminds for what promises to be an unforgettable bout of visions and ideas.

Additional speakers will include Dutch-American robotics artist Simone Giertz, who will present her innovations, while the rockstar of network science, Albert-László Barabási, will unravel how everything is connected. Shane Tusup, the co-founder of Iron Aquatics and coach of three-time Olympic champion Katinka Hosszú, will reveal how to reinvent winning in sports and business.

Brain Bar Budapest expects to draw more than 7,000 visitors for the 2017 festival with a program that will delve into the expansion of artificial intelligence, challenges of 21st century parenting, life in megacities, the relationship between sex and technology, the prospects of mass extinction, and the chances of time travel and finding extraterrestrial life.

Now in its third year, Brain Bar Budapest has already become Europe’s premier festival on the future. In 2016, a sold-out crowd of some 5,000 took part, while another 12,000 followed the online livestream from over 40 countries.
