Budapest dental clinic to accept Bitcoin payments for services

Helvetic Dental Clinics has taken the step to cut credit card costs and to preserve patient privacy, and to become the first dental service in Hungary to accept Bitcoins as payment

A top dental clinic in Budapest has revealed that they will accept Bitcoin payments in 2017.

Helvetic Dental Clinics has taken the innovative step to cut credit card costs and to preserve patient privacy.

"Since Helvetic Clinics began, we have gone through extraordinary lengths to facilitate payment options for our international patients and, since the beginning, we have accepted most major currencies," says Pierre Chaker.

"Not only will we save money by taking transactions out of the hands of credit card companies, but it can also preserve patient privacy, as those organizations can legally access certain protected health information for the purposes of verifying the transactions," added Jean-François Empain.

Bitcoin is easy to use, cheap and secure. Helvetic Clinics has become the first dental clinic in Hungary to accept Bitcoins as an official payment method.
