Californian startup to bring scooters and other electric rollers to Budapest

The so-called electric rollers will help alleviate the problems caused by traffic jams, air pollution and parking difficulties

Californian startup Lime is bringing scooters and other electric rollers to Budapest next year.

The so-called electric rollers will help alleviate the problems caused by traffic jams, air pollution and parking difficulties.

Lime's mission is to provide a quick, simple and sustainable alternative to urban transport in the city.

Each roller is equipped with a built-in GPS system and automatic lock system and users can easily download the app to their smartphone. Users can access the app to find the closest free e-roller that can be unlocked with the mobile phone.

Since its launch in 2017, Lime has been an integral part of the transportation of Europe's major cities from Warsaw to Vienna, from Zurich to Berlin.
