During yesterday’s Operational Group press conference, Chief Medical Officer Cecília Müller highlighted the importance of wearing face masks in the correct way. It is currently compulsory to wear face masks on public transport in Budapest, as well as in shops, markets and in taxis.
“It’s important to wear the mask properly, so that it covers both the mouth and nose, while being as tight as possible,” Müller said. She added that washing hands is mandatory before and after wearing a mask.
