The number of confirmed people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 3,213. In compulsory home quarantine: 10,927. Recovered: 904. Deceased: 405.
The results show that 62 percent of those infected, 79 percent of the deceased, and 54 percent of those recovered live in Budapest or Pest County. The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 1,904.
It’s still vital for everyone to maintain a distance of 1.5 meters and cover their face in shops and on public transport. It is recommended to stay at home and observe the rules and recommendations, especially elderly people, students, and those who have returned from abroad.
During yesterday’s Operational Group press conference, Chief Medical Officer Cecília Müller reported a steady increase in the number of people recovered. She said that more tests are being carried out and more than 100,000 samples have so far been taken.
