The number of confirmed people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 3,990. In compulsory home quarantine: 10,133. Recovered: 2,279. Deceased: 545.
The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 1,166. The results show that 41 percent of those infected, 59 percent of the deceased, and 48 percent of those recovered live in Budapest. There are currently 387 patients hospitalized with the coronavirus, 21 of those are on ventilators.
During yesterday's Operational Group press conference, Chief Medical Officer Cecíla Müller confirmed that the epidemiological situation in Hungary is still favorable. She added that there are three counties where no infections are currently present, but Budapest is still the most infected area of the country.
