Coronavirus Update: Hungary transports protective gear to North Macedonia and the Vatican

The foreign minister said a shipment will be transported to North Macedonia today. Meanwhile, Hungary has also transported 50,000 face masks to the Vatican.

 

The foreign minister has revealed that Hungary has taken delivery of 4.6 million pairs of gloves, 1.15 million face masks, parts needed to operate 500 ventilators and hundreds of coronavirus tests from China.

Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said Hungary has also helped North Macedonia by arranging the shipment of masks and other supplies in one of four planes that arrived in Budapest from China.

The minister said the shipment will be transported to North Macedonia today. Meanwhile, Hungary has also transported 50,000 face masks to the Vatican.
