Coronavirus Update: MÁV suspends trains between Hungary and Austria and to Ukraine

Hungarian rail company MÁV has announced that passenger rail services between Hungary and Austria and between Hungary and Ukraine have been suspended.

Austria’s OBB has suspended passenger rail services to Hungary via Szentgotthard, in southwestern Hungary.

The Ukrainian border crossing for trains at Zahony-Chop (Csap) has also been closed.

MÁV is offering a total refund for all international tickets, regardless of destination.
