Coronavirus Update: Number of confirmed cases rises to 408

With 65 new patients diagnosed with COVID-19, the number of confirmed cases in Hungary now stands at 408.

As of this morning, 65 additional Hungarians have been diagnosed with COVID-19, raising the number of confirmed cases in Hungary to 408. Meanwhile, two elderly patients have passed away from the disease.

Authorities are reminding people that Hungary is in the state of cluster infections. This means that anyone could be carrying the virus, as the number of infected people is likely much higher than the number of confirmed cases. In order to stop the spread of the coronavirus, it is vital that everyone stays home, follows all recommendations and respects the established movement restrictions.

Among the confirmed cases as of right now, there are 394 Hungarian patients alongside 10 Iranian, 2 British, 1 Kazakh and 1 Vietnamese.
