Due to the coronavirus infection, from March 17 the metropolitan chimney sweeping company FŐKÉTÜSZ Fővárosi Kéményseprőipari Kft. will temporarily suspend scheduled chimney checks in the interest of protecting people’s health. During the epidemic, metropolitan chimney sweeps will help with the provision of social care services, FŐKÉTÜSZ announced on Monday.

As in the last few days the number of property owners who do not wish to avail themselves of scheduled chimney checks has increased significantly, FŐKÉTÜSZ Kft. will reschedule chimney checks scheduled for after March 16 and will carry them out at a later date.

Due to the virus, from March 17 the company is also suspending its personal customer services. Customers can contact the company by e-mail (using the message module on the website at www.kemenysepro.hu), by mail (1443 Budapest, Pf. 155), by telephone (+36 1 999 0664) or by fax (+36 1 332 1150).

This measure will not affect technical inspections and urgent repairs. Customers will also be able to place orders for chimney adequacy certificates and to take delivery of completed certificates.

The company highlights that customers who wish to cancel already submitted requests for technical checks are required to do so on the website www.kemenysepro.hu.

During the temporary suspension of chimney checks, chimney sweeps will take part in the provision of social care services in the capital with 40 vehicles.
