Czech national arrested for trying to help six Syrians cross the Hungary-Austria border

The western Hungarian chief prosecutor’s office said a Czech national believed to have attempted to help six Syrians cross the Hungary-Austria border has been arrested.

 

The western Hungarian chief prosecutor’s office said a Czech national believed to have attempted to help six Syrians cross the Hungary-Austria border has been arrested.

According to MTI, the man was apprehended near the Hungary-Slovenia-Austria border after he had picked up the six illegal migrants into his car. The suspect had charged the Syrians 1,000 euros each under promise of helping them reach Vienna.
