Budapest Airport has achieved its goal of providing customers with direct flights from Hungary to USA in 2018, it has been announced.
Haszon.hu writes that Liszt Ferenc International Airport will provide direct flights to New York and Los Angeles in early 2018, operated by LOT, the Polish airline.
The airport operator is not only negotiating with European and American airlines, but also other airlines regarding direct flights between Budapest and Chicago, and other transatlantic routes.
Budapest Airport has brought forward the construction of its new terminal to be completed within two years at Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The new terminal will open in 2020 and will extend the check-in and the security check capacity of the airport.
