A survey conducted by Eurostat found that the country has an average fertility rate.
According to Napi.hu, the survey details fertility rates in EU Member States from 2016 that showed that more babies were born than in 2015.
The survey found that compared to other EU countries, Hungary has an average fertility rate, outpacing member states such as Croatia, Spain, Slovakia and Italy.
