Foreign Minister holds consultations with Kyrgyz counterpart Chingiz Aidarbekov

Minister Szijjártó said they had successfully finalized agreements about investment protection and the avoidance of double taxation.

 

Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, has held consultations with Kyrgyz counterpart Chingiz Aidarbekov.

According to MTI, Minister Szijjártó said they had successfully finalized agreements about investment protection and the avoidance of double taxation. The two documents will be signed during Aidarbekov’s forthcoming visit to Budapest. “The agreements will be of great help to Hungarian companies with plans to expand their operations in Central Asia,” he added.

Aidarbekov thanked Hungary for the ventilators it had sent to Kyrgyzstan. He added that the equipment in question had played an important role in helping novel coronavirus patients in Kyrgyzstan.
