Hungarian citizen shot dead in Munich attack

The Hungarian government has expressed its deep shock and condolences to all families of the victims of the shootings and wishes the injured a speedy recovery

A Hungarian citizen has been killed in the shooting incident in Munich, it has been announced.

Bavarian police have confirmed that a Hungarian citizen, a boy born in 2001, was among the victims shot dead in the attack. The boy had been living in Munich for around ten years and went to school there.

According to the family’s wishes, the boy will be buried in Hungary, and the staff of the Consulate General in Munich are assisting with the required administration and are in direct contact with the family.
