Hungarian MEPs take their oaths for European Parliament

The 21 Hungarian MEPs who will represent Hungary in Brussels took their oaths on Thursday.

The 21 Hungarian MEPs who will represent Hungary in Brussels took their oaths on Thursday, ready to represent the country within the European Union.

At the May European Parliament elections the ruling Fidesz party won 13 seats, the social-democrat DK party four seats, Momentum two seats, while the Socialists and the far-right Jobbik secured one mandate each.

According to the EP charter, all MEPs take their oaths in their home country.
