Hungarian rock band AWS make it through to the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest final

The Eurovision grand final will take place this Saturday, May 12th at 9pm CET. A total of 26 countries will be performing and local audiences and a judging panel will vote for their winners

Rock band AWS will represent Hungary in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest final on Saturday, it has been confirmed.

The band performed in Lisbon, Portugal, last night and made through a tough semi-final round. They are hoping to bring home the title for the very first time over the weekend.

Their song “Viszlát Nyár” proved a big hit with television audiences and critics are already tipping the song to do well this year.

AWS was founded in 2006, and consists of five members: Dániel Kökényes, Áron Veress, Örs Siklósi, Bence Brucker, and Soma Schiszler.

The grand finale will take place this Saturday, May 12th at 9pm CET.
