Students from the Bolyai János Secondary School have won the China Adolescent Science & Technology Innovation Contest.

Held annually, the competition invites budding engineers, biologists and medical practitioners to showcase their talents. With teamwork and creativity at the focal point, participants are strongly encouraged to think outside the box to come up with fresh and ground-breaking ideas.

Bálint Székely and Dominik Dobos amazed the jury with a project demonstrating cutting-edge scientific insight and clear-cut vision, building a mock-up of the human systemic circulatory system. To shed light on its complexities, the students constructed a model illustrating blood flow with water.

The Hungarian students came first out of 88 participants from 52 countries.
