Hungarian swimmer breaks national record in 400m freestyle

Ajna Késely broke the 400m freestyle national record at the Gwangju 2019 World Aquatics Championships on Sunday.

Ajna Késely came fourth at the 400m freestyle competition held on Sunday at the Gwangju 2019 World Aquatics Championships.

The 17-year-old swimmer from Budapest broke a national record, reaching the finish line in 4:01.21 seconds. Boglárka Kapás, the other Hungarian competitor came sixth with 4:05.36 seconds. Both secured a place in the next round of competitions.

Held between July 12th and 18th, the Gwangju 2019 World Aquatics Championships has 193 participating nations and 2.623 athletes.
