Hungary hits back at Washington Post column

International spokesman Zoltán Kovács has lashed out at a Washington Post column belittling Hungary.

Secretary of State for International Communication and Relations, Zoltán Kovács has hit back at a Washington Post column belittling Hungary.

The column by Richard Cohen argued that US President Donald Trump should not have met Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, saying - among other things – that Hungary’s best days are behind it and how PM Orbán has dismantled democracy in Hungary.

Below you can read Kovács’s tweet in English in full – the last words, in Hungarian “menj a francba” literally means go to hell.
