Hungary is first Eastern European country to host the renowned EuroSkills contest

EuroSkills, a biannual competition that showcases the best young skilled professionals on the continent, is expected to draw almost 100,000 visitors to Hungary on September 26-28th

Hungary is set to become the first Eastern European country to host the renowned EuroSkills contest.

EuroSkills, a biannual competition that showcases the best young skilled professionals on the continent, is expected to draw almost 100,000 visitors to Hungary on September 26-28th.

According to MTI, some 600 competitors from 28 countries will demonstrate their skills to 500 professionals and jury members at EuroSkills Budapest 2018.

Visitors to EuroSkills are expected to spend nearly 20,000 guest nights in the capital. Admission to the Hungexpo fairgrounds in Budapest is free of charge for everyone during the contest, but registration is required.

Hungexpo is hosting the event together with the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK).
