Hungary sends condolences to Italy following earthquake and avalanche tragedy

The ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade expressed its sympathy with the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those who were injured

Hungary has sent its condolences to Italy following an avalanche which caused death and injury to more than 30 people.

Hungary's ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade was shocked to learn of the consequences of the avalanche after a series of earthquakes hit Italy on January 18.

On behalf of Hungary, the ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade expressed its sympathy with the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those who were injured.

Eight people have today been pulled alived from the submerged hotel where 30 people were reported missing. Four bodies have so far been recovered while resuce attempts continue.
