Hungary will repave about 1,000km of roads in 2021

József Szilvai, the CEO of state road maintenance company Magyar Közút Nonprofit, said 2021 would be a “record year” in terms of the number and scale of projects.

 

Hungary will repave about 1,000km of roads at a cost of HUF 190 billion (EUR 520m) throughout 2021.

According to the Innovation and Technology Ministry, the roadwork will be undertaken in more than 350 projects. József Szilvai, the CEO of state road maintenance company Magyar Közút Nonprofit, said 2021 would be a “record year” in terms of the number and scale of projects.
