Hungary wins four medals at the sixth FINA Artistic Swimming World Series held in Madrid

Hungary has bagged four medals at the sixth FINA Artistic Swimming World Series held in Madrid, Spain over the weekend.

Hungary secured three silver and one bronze medal in the championships. FINA revealed that one bronze medal had to be given back because rules say that only one person from each country can stand on the podium.

Szofi Kiss won silver in the Solo Technical Final, scoring 75.2077 points. Luca Rényi won third place. However, FINA rules state that only one person from each country can stand on the podium, so the bronze medal was handed to Polish Swietlana Szczepanska. Kiss also won silver in the Solo Free Routine final, picking up 76.0668 points.

The Hungarian team claimed the silver medal in the Free Combination discipline, scoring 78.5332. The Hungarian team was lead by team captain Natalia Tarasova and included Anna Apáthy, Janka David, Boglárka Gács, Mira Gerstenkorn, Szabina Hungler, Szofi Kiss, Luca Renyi, Anna Viktória Szabó and Veronka Szabó. The team also won the bronze medal in the Team Free category, securing 77.6000 points.
