Hungary's border protection is fair, efficient and effective

Hungary maintains its fair, just and legal handling of migrants who seek asylum, and they will be dealt with in a fair, appropriate and humane manner

Hungary's border protection is effective and efficient, according to György Bakondi, chief security advisor to the Prime Minister.

Bakondi pointed out that the system, introduced on July 5, guides migrants who are found not to have committed a crime back to the nearest gate and will be directed to the nearest transit zone.

Commenting on the recent hunger strikes being conducted by illegal immigrants at the Hungarian border, Bakondi said that the migrants’ actions are not spontaneous ones, they are being organized by seperate individuals or groups.

Bakondi said that according to his sources, protests held at the borders are mainly being organized by anarchist groups, such as No Border, whose name already indicates that borders should be dismantled.
