Hungary’s investment volume rose by an annual 14.8 percent in Q3

According to fresh data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH), in absolute terms, investments came to HUF 2,684.4 billion (EUR 7.98bn) during the third quarter.

New figures show that Hungary’s investment volume rose by an annual 14.8 percent in the third quarter.

According to fresh data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH), in absolute terms, investments came to HUF 2,684.4 billion (EUR 7.98bn) during the period.

Construction investments increased by 15.8 percent, reaching HUF 1,601.6 billion. Machinery investments climbed 13.6 percent and stood at HUF 1,062.9 billion.

Manufacturing sector investments jumped 28.6 percent, reaching HUF 740.6 billion. Investments in the logistics sector were up 17.1 percent at HUF 496.8 billion. Real estate investments increased by 22.6 percent to reach HUF 452.3 billion.

Private sector investments were up 28.7 percent at HUF 1,606.5 billion. Public sector investments edged up 0.2 of a percent to HUF 385.7 billion.
