Tímea Babos's wins at both the Australian Open and WTA finals have ensured her a place in history as one of the greatest Hungarian tennis players of all-time

Hungary’s Tímea Babos has become a grand slam tennis champion after winning the women’s doubles title at the Australian Open.

Joined by Kristina Mladenovic from France, the 5th ranked pair beat Yekaterina Makarova and Yelena Vesnina from Russia 6-4, 6-3.

Last year, we reported on how the tennis star became the first Hungarian World Champion in tennis history after she won the women’s doubles WTA finals in Singapore.
