Investment in Hungary increased by an annual 17.3 percent in the first quarter of 2018

KSH figures show that investments came to 1,261 billion HUF (3.95 billion EUR) in the first quarter of the year

Investment in Hungary has increased by an annual 17.3 percent in the first quarter of 2018, it has been announced.

The Central Statistical Office (KSH) revealed that construction investments increased by 26.4 percent and investments in machinery rose by 10.4 percent.

Meanwhile, manufacturing investments dropped by 0.2 percent, but real estate investments surged upwards by 44.9 percent. Investments in the logistics sector were up 9.4 percent.

Figures show that investments came to 1,261 billion HUF (3.95 billion EUR) in the first quarter of the year.

Manufacturing sector investments reached 376 billion HUF, real estate investments rose to 226 billion HUF and logistics investments stood at 119 billion HUF.
