Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit Budapest in 2017

The visit was agreed following a series of telephone conversations between Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Netanyahu himself

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit Budapest in the second half of 2017, Bertalan Havasi, head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister, has said.

According to the Prime Minister's Office, an agreement about the visit was reached over the course of a series of telephone conversations between Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Netanyahu himself.

According to MTI, the visit coincides with Hungary’s rotating presidency of the Visegrad Four group of nations.

Prime Minister Netanyahu recently listed Eastern Europe as one of the regions he intends to visit in 2017.
