Katinka Hosszú wins European Sportswoman of the Year Award

AIPS Europe president Charles Camenzuli presented Hosszú with the prize in recognition of her two gold medals at the FINA world aquatics championships in South Korea.

Olympic and world champion swimmer Katinka Hosszú has been awarded the International Sports Press Association’s (AIPS) European Sportswoman of the Year Award.

During the gala event, held in Budapest on Monday, AIPS Europe president Charles Camenzuli presented Hosszú with the prize in recognition of her two gold medals at the FINA world aquatics championships in Gwangju, South Korea, last year.

Hosszú has now won the award three times, she previously took home the prize in 2016 and 2017.
