Lewis Hamilton wins record seventh Hungarian F1 Grand Prix title

For most of the race it looked as if Red Bull driver Max Verstappen would take the win, but with just three laps to go Lewis Hamilton picked up the pace to secure victory.

Lewis Hamilton beat Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel in the Hungarian Grand Prix over the weekend to take his record seventh title.

The British Formula One driver took to the podium for the Mercedes team, coming from behind to score victory.

For most of the race it looked as if the Red Bull driver would take the win, but with just three laps to go Hamilton picked up the pace to secure the title.

With a total of eight wins and ten podium finishes this season, Hamilton now leads the F1 championship with a comfortable 62 points ahead of teammate Valtteri Bottas.
