This year's Night of Museums will be held on June 24 and will host more than 2,200 programs including concerts, guided exhibitions and interactive events that will await visitors at 442 venues nationwide. Deputy state secretary Máté Vincze said last year’s event drew over 300,000 visitors. Veszprém, in western Hungary, will be in the focus of this year’s program, with nearly 500 programs at 30 venues, he added. Ten institutes will offer programs presenting the work of world-renowned mathematician John von Neumann, who was born 120 years ago, he said. Beloved soprano Erika Miklósa will be the event’s ambassador, he added.
