One million Hungarian citizenship requests have been submitted

Deputy PM Semjén also highlighted how the 28th Bálványos Summer Open University and Student Camp held this week has proved one of the most important discussion forums of the Hungarian community for nearly three decades

The number of people who have submitted Hungarian citizenship requests has reached one million, according to the Deputy Prime Minister.

What's more, the number of those who have taken their citizenship oaths is set to reach one million by November, the date of the Hungarian Standing Conference.

Zsolt Semjén made the remarks during an interview for news channel M1 in Tusnádfürdő on Wednesday.
