PM Orbán has underlined his support for Poland’s position on Belarus

According to the prime minister, the V4 countries were in agreement on the issue of Belarus and Poland’s position was firmly supported by all V4 countries.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has underlined his support for Poland’s position on Belarus at a meeting of the Visegrad Group.

During a videoconference of European Union leaders afterwards, PM Orbán called for the bloc to draw up a geostrategic plan that would contain military and economic aspects.

According to the prime minister, the V4 countries were in agreement on the issue of Belarus and Poland’s position was firmly supported by all V4 countries.

During the European Council videoconference, PM Orbán said a geostrategic plan was urgently needed in light of the outcome of the crisis in Belarus. This should cover military and economic aspects, as well as policies on human rights and democracy.
