PM Orbán holds talks with head of Tata Group about the development of the Hungarian economy

The prime minister highlighted that Hungary’s economic achievements create sound foundations for intensifying cooperation with India’s largest private company, the Tata Group

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has held talks with Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Chairman of the Indian Tata Group about the development of the Hungarian economy and the training of skilled workers and experts.

During their meeting in the Parliament Building on Thursday afternoon, the prime minister highlighted that Hungary’s economic achievements create sound foundations for intensifying cooperation with India’s largest private company, which is active in a number of sectors of industry in more than 85 countries around the world.

According to kormany.hu, the company has been a strategic partner of the Hungarian government since 2013. The consulting activities of the subsidiary Tata Consultancy Services are particularly useful for Hungarian experts, as are the business training programs organized by them which they will also continue in the future.

The meeting was also attended by Minister of Finance Mihály Varga and Minister for Innovation and Technology László Palkovics.
