Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met with Moldovan President Igor Dodon in the Parliament building in Budapest on Friday, according to government sources.

The two leaders discussed opportunities in boosting bilateral economic and trade relations between the two nations, and exchanged views about international affairs affecting Hungary and the Republic of Moldova.

PM Orbán had a busy day on Friday. He also had a lengthy telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, where they discussed issues linked to Hungarian-Russian relations.

The prime minister also had a telephone conversation with Italian prime minister Paolo Gentiloni, and they discussed international issues.
