Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has sent condolences on behalf of the Hungarian people to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani following the devastating earthquake that hit the region.

“It was with deep sadness that I learned of the earthquake that has caused devastation in the western region of Iran. Our hearts are with the people of Iran in these difficult times, and with the brave heroes who are working to find and assist the survivors of this tragic catastrophe," PM Orbán wrote.
