Police in Baranya County arrest two Syrians on suspicion of people smuggling

Eight illegal migrants — Syrian, Algerian, Moroccan and Tunisian — were arrested on Monday night.

 

Police in Baranya County have detained and questioned two Syrian men suspected of people smuggling.

According to police.hu, eight illegal migrants — Syrian, Algerian, Moroccan and Tunisian — were arrested on Monday night.

Police sources confirm that the Syrian men, 32 and 24, who were driving two cars, were unable to provide a credible reason for their presence in Hungary and were therefore detained.
