Police investigate 'acid attack' which injured four people in Budapest's party district

According to reports, four victims suffered light burns and were taken to hospital late Tuesday evening

Budapest police have launched an investigation after four people were injured in central Budapest’s party district when a bottle of acidic substance fell from the top of a building.

According to reports, four victims suffered light burns and were taken to hospital late Tuesday evening.

It was originally thought that the bottle had been deliberately thrown at passersby from a window in Kazinczy Street, but police are also looking into the fact that it might have been an accident by careless construction workers renovating the building.
