Hungary's 10-6 win over Brazil in the water polo qualifying rounds has seen the team advance to the Olympic quater-finals. Winning clinched them a spot alongside Brazil, who won other qualifying matches, Greece and Serbia from Group A.
Meanwhile in Group B, Spain, Croatia and Montenegro advanced to the quarter-finals along with Italy despite a 10-7 loss to the United States. The US team was already eliminated coming into play on Sunday due to losses in other matches.
Hungary and Montenegro will face off in Tuesday’s quarter-finals, while Spain will face Serbia, Greece faces Italy, and Brazil will play Croatia.
Hungary is doing extremely well at this summer's Olympic Games, they currently hold five gold medals, three silver and four bronze.
