Rock band AWS will represent Hungary in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, it has been revealed.
Hungarians came together on “Super Saturday” to vote for their favorite artist during the A Dal singing competition – AWS were the eventual winners.
The band will perform in Lisbon, Portugal, on May 10th and are hoping to bring home the title for the very first time.
Their song “Viszlát Nyár” proved a big hit with television audiences and critics are already tipping the song to do well this year.
AWS was founded in 2006, and consists of five members: Dániel Kökényes, Áron Veress, Örs Siklósi, Bence Brucker, and Soma Schiszler.
