Coronavirus Update: Another elderly man passes away and the number of confirmed cases rises to 343

Another elderly man has passed away and the confirmed number of patients infected with the coronavirus has increased to 343. The number of recovered cases stands at 34.

Another elderly man, already suffering from chronic illness, has died from the coronavirus and more Hungarian citizens have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing the confirmed number of cases in Hungary to 343. The number of those recovered stands at 34.

Hungary is now in the stage of group illnesses when the infection spreads through the community via personal contact. The virus can now be present anywhere in Hungary.

In order to slow down mass infection, it is very important that the elderly, students, those returning from abroad, and those who can do so, stay at home and that everyone abides by the rules and recommendations put in place by the government.

The number of coronavirus cases in Hungary now stands at 343, including 10 Iranian, 2 British, 1 Kazakh, 1 Vietnamese and 329 Hungarian.

Our most sincere condolences to the families of the deceased.

Only together can we slow down the epidemic and flatten the curve.
