Seven new playgrounds to be built in Budapest

Under the Liget Budapest Project, a total of seven new playgrounds will be set up in the City Park, including a playground of over 13,000 square meters

László Baán, ministerial commissioner for the Liget Budapest Project, said that "the central element and symbol of the Great Playground will be a three-story climbing wall inspired by the painting from Pál Szinyei-Merse, the Balloon."

The aim of the playgrounds is so that children with disabilities can play with their healthy companions. They have also installed integrated playground equipment in the park, which would offer easy access and safe play.

The commissioner also pointed out that the playground and the safety of the children will be supervised by professional personnel and another playing field will be built for older children with a climbing cliff, skateboard and cross-bicycle parks.
