Son of Saul director László Nemes is working on a new film titled Sunset.
According to origo.hu, the director has cast Hungarian actress Juli Jakab in the lead role.
Romanian actor Vlad Ivanov will play the male lead and according to sources, Jakab was cast following an 18-month search.
Sunset will be set in Budapest in 1915 and will begin shooting in June. It is expected to hit cinema screens in 2018.
Nemes is currently hot property on the international film scene after picking up an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards for Son of Saul.
