The first robot in the world to receive citizenship has made an appearance in Hungary.
Sophia visited the Brain Bar festival held at the Corvinus University of Budapest where she appeared as a special guest.
Sophia is a social humanoid robot developed in Hong Kong by Hanson Robotics and was granted Saudi Arabian citizen in 2016.
While in Budapest, she met with hundreds of fans and put her advanced technology to good use by being able to hold conversations and understand over 50 facial expressions.
