A Syrian national has been arrested at a migrant shelter for attacking two police officers, it has been revealed.
According to MTI, the officers on duty had called on the man to stop “a recreational activity” he was engaged in, at which point he started to attack one of them with a table tennis bat and the other with his fists. The officers were unhurt.
The man will remain in pre-trial detention until the primary court’s decision which will be no later than December 15.
