Twenty youth teams will battle it out over the next week for the 4th FINA World Men's Youth Water Polo Championships 2018 title

The Hungarian city of Szombathely is preparing for its stint as host of the Men's World Youth Water Polo Championships, which begins on August 11th.

Twenty youth teams will battle it out over the next week for the 4th FINA World Men's Youth Water Polo Championships 2018 title.

There will be eight European teams competing this year, along with five from America, three from Asia, and two each from Oceania and Africa.

The tournament is only open to players aged 18 years and under. The nine-day competition will run from Saturday August 11th until Sunday August 19th.
